Senior Valentine Bingo Breakfast - Tickets on sale now!

Date: Thursday, February 14, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Place: Albany Civic Center

For: Seniors 50 and over. No children allowed.

Cost:  $5 for single, or $8 per couple.  Purchase tickets at the ARPD office at 1301 N. Monroe. Seats are limited!  Tickets on sale now through February 11.

Join us for the annual Senior Valentine Bingo Breakfast.  The morning will include breakfast and Bingo (for prizes only, no cash).  Special guest speaker is Lt. Tony Moore of the Albany Police Department.

Interactive Goalball Demonstration

This demonstration will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 9 am - noon at Thornton Community Center (210 Thornton Dr.).  It's free of charge, but please call and register.  Goalball is a team sport for visually impaired and blind athletes. The object of the game is to throw/roll the ball down the court and get it past the opposing team on the other side of the court.  Goalball is the ONLY sport specifically created for visually impaired and blind athletes that is played on the Paralympics level.  This demonstration is for anyone (of any age) who is blind or visually impaired, or anyone who wants to try their hand at a new sport.  Interactive Goalball flyer
