For those travelers leaving Albany and flying domestically:

We are currently under Threat Level ORANGE. This means that there are additional security measures in place at the airport and could create possible delays in the security screening process.

When picking up and dropping off passengers, please use the public parking lot. The first 30 minutes are free. TSA regulations forbid vehicles parked unattended on the curb. If you leave your vehicle on the curb, then you will be ticketed or your vehicle will be towed.

Pack light and get to the airport as early as you can. For the first flight in the morning, please arrive at the terminal no later than 4:30 a.m. Airline schedules will not be altered for the additional security measures, so please plan ahead to be sure that you are at the airport at least 90 minutes before the published flight time, except for the holiday travel season. If you are traveling during the holidays, please arrive 2 hours prior to the published flight time.

Effective immediately, ASA/Delta Connection now closes the boarding door 10 minutes prior to the scheduled flight time to ensure better on-time performance. The baggage cut-off is 30 minutes prior to the scheduled flight time, but checking in that late does not guarantee that your checked luggage will make it on the airplane. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that there will be enough time to check all baggage and passengers before flight time.
