How to Make a Complaint Against a Member of the Albany Police Department
There are several ways for person(s) to file a complaint against members of the Albany Police Department. Person(s) with a complaint should do one of the following:
1. Mail a letter, describing the complaint, to the Albany Police Department, ATTENTION: Internal Affairs, P.O. Box 447, Albany, Georgia 31702-0447, OR
2. Call (229) 431-2100

Ask to speak to a supervisor in reference to a complaint.

The person answering the call may ask some preliminary questions for the purpose of determining which appropriate supervisor should process the complaint, OR
3. Contact any supervisor of the Albany Police Department either in person or by phone
4. Contact the Information Desk at the Albany Police Department (Ground Floor West Side)
5. Download the Allegation of Employee Misconduct Form from the website and mail it to Albany Police Department, ATTENTION: Internal Affairs, P.O. Box 447, Albany, Georgia 31702-0447:
