PARATRANSIT RESERVATION HOURS CHANGE EFFECTIVE JULY 15, 2009:  Effective July 15, 2009, reservations can be made between regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. (The cut-off for next day reservations is 3:00 p.m. the day before.)You may leave voice mail messages at any time.

Employment Opportunities
The City of Albany Transit System (ATS) is currently taking applications for part-time vehicle operators.  Work is available from 5:00 AM – 8:30 PM weekdays, 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM Saturdays and 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM Sundays.  Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with a Passenger (P) endorsement.  You will earn $7.00 per hour while we train you, $8.50 during your six-month probationary period and upon successful completion of your probationary period $9.00 per hour. ATS Operations
Albany Transit System manages public transportation services including fixed route and paratransit services for ADA-eligible riders. It procures, operates, and maintains vehicles; develops, manages, and maintains facilities; develops, monitors and evaluates contracting opportunities; conducts routes scheduling; and monitors operational performance of all services.

ALL ATS FIXED-ROUTE AND PARATRANSIT VEHICLES ARE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.  ALL ATS FIXED-ROUTE VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH BICYCLE RACKS.
