Alcohol Beverage Handlers Card
Any person handling or serving alcohol in the City of Albany and unincorporated areas of Dougherty County must be trained and obtain a Alcohol Beverage Handlers Card. By having this card, it states that the person has attended the city mandated training and has signed a statement of consent, that he/she will not sell alcohol to minors. This card must be carried when working. The card is good for four years. ABC Handlers Card training is held on the second Thursday of each month. You may call Investigator Nathaniel Norman, 483-6232 or Jim Phelps, 438-3913 to inquire about the class.
