Kim Windom

Kimberly began her work at the District Attorney’s Office in December 2003. During her employment with the office, she has prosecuted cases in the Juvenile, State and Superior Courts of Dougherty County. In 2009, she was appointed to serve as Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney for the Felony Division of the District Attorney’s Office. She was appointed to serve as the Chief Assistant District Attorney for the State Court Division in August 2010.

Kimberly received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Albany State University in 1999, where she graduated with honors. She received her law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 2003, where she also graduated with honors.

Kimberly became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 2003 and is also a member of the Dougherty County Bar Association. In 2008, Kimberly was named one of Southwest Georgia’s “40 Under 40.” She is a graduate of the 2008 Leadership Albany Class.

Kimberly was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She is a 1995 graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School. Kimberly and her husband, Kovosky Windom, reside in Dougherty County and are both members of First Mount Olive Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.
