Albany Police Department has put forth continuous effort in keeping our neighborhoods safe and free of crime. The 2010 Gang Task Force Meeting Schedule is now available.
The City of Albany Board of Commissioners Quarterly Meeting Schedule is now available.
Dougherty County Board of Commissioners Quarterly Meeting Schedule is now available.
Non-Emergency 311 Call Center is now available to assist you with local government service request and general information. The Center is open weekdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Simply dial 311 from your telephone or 229-878-3111.
Do you need assistance starting or expanding a business? Get help through the Business First program. For more information about the Business First program, click here.
COP-Line with Spanish Speaking Connection: The Albany Police Department has a telephone line to assist Spanish speaking citizens with reporting information concerning criminal activity and they can access the line 24-hours a day. Read more......

A K.O.O.L.L Walk In Turtle Park: K.O.O.L.L., which stands for "Keeping Obesity Out of Life's Loop", is an organization committed to building healthier communities. We are proactive in educating families concerning the prevalence of Childhood Obesity and Diabetes impact on families. In an effort to raise awareness and bring communities together, K.O.O.L.L. will sponsor an opportunity for families, businesses, and organizations to get active and on the move by choosing a cause to which you are most passionate and raise as much money to fund your cause! There will be rewards for most monies raised and K.O.O.L.L. will recognize partners at this event. Children and Families will receive free information and T-shirts will be available. Come one, Come All..."Are you K.O.O.L.L. or Not?"

Water Music: Masterworks Concert by the Albany Symphony Orchestra spotlighting the Flint Riverquarium. Soloist will be Thomas Sherwood, principal percussionist of the Atlanta Symphony, performing Tan Dun's Water Concerto for water instruments and orchestra. Also featured will be music from Handel's Water Music and Smetana's musical description of the Moldau River.
