Water Festival 2010
The Water Festival is an innovative, hands-on three-day water education festival. The festival’s goal is to provide a fun education opportunity for 5th grade students to learn, appreciate and explore the many uses of water.
Approximately, one thousands (1,000) students from Dougherty, Terrell, Webster, and Randolph Counties will participate in the interactive water activities.
Presentation topics include:
• Oil & Water Don’t Mix
• Non-Point Source Pollution
• Mosquito Control
• Handwashing Saves Lives
• Agricultural Water Use
• Weather and You
• Water in Wetlands
• Watersmart
• Water and Soil Erosion
• Running Water
