12/18/2010 - My Brother's Keeper
Stand Up Again continues its mandate to be “My Brother’s Keeper” and on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Albany State University HYPER Gymnasium we will be providing food boxes to the 1st 1000 people who sign up.
Registration is from 8:00 - 10:00a.m.
There will be something for everyone. Community Organizations such as Goodwill, Phoebe Network of Trust, Dougherty County Headstart, Sowega Counseling on Aging, the Lily Pad, Albany Technical College and the Rural Clinic will be providing information regarding their services. There will free blood pressure screenings
PARENTS, if you want your teenagers to be a part of something that will challenge them to be the best that they can be, come and find out about The P.U.S.H, (Peers Uniting Successful and Holy) and the Mentoring Program for ages 13 to 18.
There will be entertainment provided by Albany’s Own Cornelius Drake and The Foundation, Radium Springs Middle School Chorus, DJ Dwayne from WJIZ and an Inspirational message that will provide hope for the future.
