NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FIVE YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN 2011-2015
Under the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, jurisdictions receiving
federal funds for housing and community development activities must prepare a Five-
Year Consolidated Plan. The programs covered under the Plan are the Community
Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership, and the Emergency Shelter
Grant programs and include proposed housing and community development needs,
objectives and goals for the upcoming five years. The City of Albany, Department of
Community & Economic Development is the lead agency in the preparation and
implementation of the Plan.
A key component in the successful development of the Plan is public input by residents
of the City of Albany. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on
Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
