4/15/2010 - COP-Line with Spanish Speaking Connection
The Albany Police Department has a telephone line to assist Spanish speaking citizens with reporting information concerning criminal activity and they can access the line 24-hours a day.

When Callers dial the COP-Tip Line, they can choose to listen to the voicemail message in Spanish. From there, they can leave an anonymous tip or they can leave a message requesting to speak to a Spanish speaking Officer.

In an emergency, Spanish speaking citizens should call 911 where emergency translation services are available.

The APD-COP Tip Line hopes to encourage Hispanic citizens to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime in their communities.

Callers can access the line by dialing (229) 434-2677.
